Agreement with Mirelle

These terms apply when you use this website or submit a private commission to Mirelle. The public inspiration archive is not a retail catalogue and does not offer the displayed studies for direct purchase or exact replication. Submitting an application is a request for consultation, not acceptance of a commission.

You must provide accurate contact, fit and delivery information and be legally able to enter into the commission agreement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should submit and approve the commission for you.

02

Private commission sequence

  1. You submit a private application. Monthly availability is limited and an application does not reserve a place until accepted.
  2. A Mirelle concierge contacts you and confirms the brief, fit record, desired date and presentation choice.
  3. After the brief is confirmed, Mirelle sends an initial private estimate and a non-refundable design-deposit request. Receipt of that deposit formally places the order and is required before design work begins.
  4. The designer develops an original proposal. Up to two refinement rounds are included before final approval; the approved work then enters hand-making.
  5. The remaining balance must be received before dispatch. The estimated completion and delivery window is 7–14 days from receipt of the design deposit, provided the client supplies measurements, replies and approvals promptly. Mirelle does not accept rush orders.
03

Design approval and handmade variation

Please review the shape, length, colour direction, embellishment placement, spelling and fit information before approval. Screens and lighting can represent colour and reflective materials differently. Very small hand-finished differences in brushwork, gradient, stone placement or texture may occur, but the completed work should remain materially consistent with the approved design.

Up to two focused refinement rounds are included before final design approval. Further changes, or changes requested after final approval or hand-making begins, require separate agreement and may not be possible. Mirelle will confirm any effect on price or timing before proceeding.

04

Private quotation and payment

Mirelle does not publish fixed retail prices. Most private commissions are expected to fall between S$100 and S$200, but the initial private estimate depends on complexity, materials, presentation, delivery and approved special work. Its validity, non-refundable design deposit, projected balance and cancellation terms form part of the agreement for that commission.

Design begins only after the stated non-refundable design deposit is received. The deposit compensates the reserved studio time and the commencement of original design work, and is not returned if the client later cancels or uses the verified fit-remake promise. This does not limit remedies required by Singapore law for non-conforming goods. The remaining balance must be completed before dispatch. Mirelle does not currently collect card details directly on this website; payment-provider details and terms will be shown before payment.

05

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Delivery methods, estimates and charges are presented in your private estimate. The 7–14 day window begins when the design deposit is received and assumes timely measurements, replies and approvals. It is an estimate rather than a guaranteed date; Mirelle does not accept rush orders. You are responsible for checking the recipient name, complete address and postal code before final confirmation.

A completed made-to-measure work cannot usually be returned merely because the client changes their mind. If the confirmed set does not fit, contact client care promptly with the private reference and clear fit photographs. Once Mirelle verifies the fit issue, the client keeps the original set and Mirelle remakes and sends one replacement set. No monetary refund is issued under this fit-remake policy and the design deposit remains non-refundable. This policy does not limit any repair, replacement, price reduction, rescission or other remedy required by Singapore law where goods do not conform to the agreement.

Fit, application and safe use

Custom fit depends on the accuracy of the measurements and photographs you provide. Follow the application and removal guide, use adhesives only as directed, discontinue use if irritation occurs and keep small components away from children. Mirelle does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

07

Original design, references and publication

You confirm that you are entitled to share any reference material you submit. References guide mood, colour and detail; they do not instruct Mirelle to reproduce another creator's protected work. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Mirelle retains rights in its original design concepts and brand materials, while your personal data remains governed by the Privacy Notice.

Client photographs, names and commission stories are never published merely because a commission was submitted. Publication requires a separate, explicit approval as described in the Privacy Notice.

08

Questions and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If something is not as expected, contact Mirelle first so we can review the private record and seek a fair resolution. We may update these terms for future commissions; the version accepted with your commission remains recorded.
